From Galway
As you leave Galway, follow the N59 signposted Clifden. You will drive through the villages of Moycullen, Oughterard and a small crossroad village of Maam Cross, and Recess. Continue on the N59.
You will reach the village of Clifden. Drive around the one way system in the town. Take the R341, signposted Ballyconneely / Roundstone. The hotel is 8 kilometres up this road. Take a right turn signposted for Connemara Sands Hotel & Spa. We are 250 metres up this road on your right.
Our property extends all the way to the shoreline, with the beach just 200 metres from the hotel. A scenic private path leads you directly through the hotel grounds to the sand.
